We’re In "Off The Street Club’s" Camp!
A few weeks ago, Eicoff brought the great outdoors indoors and became “Camp Eicoff”, a fully functional “camping” experience—minus the mosquitos and poison ivy. We invited the Chicago advertising and media community to take part and enjoy some good, ol’ fashioned camping fun in order to raise money for this year’s Off the Street Club's Save Our Summer (SOS) initiative.
When summer comes around, most kids trade days of school and homework for the fun and freedom of simply being a kid. Not so for many living in the West Side of Chicago. For these kids, summers are spent trying to avoid some of the worst violence this city has seen. The Off the Street Club provides a wonderful and safe alternative, providing hundreds of children an escape to a real summer camp experience at Camp Mathieu in Wheaton IL.
Off the Street Club's goal is to send 700 kids to camp this summer - and our event alone funded 40 of those well-deserving kids.
Thanks to everyone who attended and donated to this truly worthy cause. In fact, donations are still being accepted, so if you’d like to help send even more kids to camp this summer, please click this link.
And to see more of our event, including building code safe s’more cooking and indoor archery, watch the video below. Also, pictures from our photo booth can be seen here.
